Steve set up this blog and we are both going to be making regular updates throughout our journey. He is in London now, and I am spending the Christmas holiday with my Mom's family in New York.
Mom and I drove out to Pawling, NY the day after my last final exam. We are staying at my Aunt's house now, which is nestled in the rolling hills and mountains I have become so accustomed to over the last 20 years of visiting this area.
Yesterday we had a lazy day around the house, wrapping presents and visiting with family. Mom and I visited dad's and Grammy's graves and went to my Uncle's house for a lovely Christmas eve dinner. Almost my entire family was there!
The festivities will surely continue throughout the day, we plan to open presents later. Tomorrow we are going to drive to Maine to meet my sister in-law's family and spend a few days in the snow, skiing and snowshoeing.
Everyday become more nervous/excited to fly to London! I have gone through my clothes so many times in attempt to reduce my baggage, but it is hard to leave things behind.
